LSA Endowments is a trading style of Leonard Simmonds Associates (LSA). LSA and its subsidiary companies are committed to preserving privacy of the information that it is necessary for us to collate on you in order to deal with your enquiry. This policy sets out the terms by which LSA will process and hold personal information that is received.

   Information is used to enable us to carry out our business of purchasing second hand endowment polices.
   
   
3. Information Gathering
   In the course of providing an Endowment Policy Offer LSA will need to collect, use and retain details such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and other relevant details, including policy details, in order to validate any potential offer on the policy. Personal details of any other individual(s) who are joint policyholders with you may also be required.
   
   We undertake direct checks on personal information directly from you and/or from the life office of your endowment policy, when we receive authorisation from you. This is done with your consent with the intention to obtain only relevant information to allow us to undertake a policy valuation, comply with Financial Services and other regulation or to send you information concerning products or services which we may feel are of interest to you. We do not intentionally collect information about our clients or web users from other sources such as private organizations, public records or bodies unless specifically required for credit or bankruptcy checks. Your data will only be disclosed to a government institution if required by law.
   
   
4. Disclosure of Information.
   By you accepting our privacy policy and until we receive written correspondence from you to the contrary it is understood that you consent that LSA may share your personal information with relevant financial institutions and to associate companies, affiliates and service partners to assist you in financial planning matters regarding the potential valuation and sale of your endowment policy or for other financial matters or any other person, firm or company that we feel may be of suitable assistance to you. We do not disclose to any third party the information provided or gathered except as explicitly stated in this privacy policy.
   
   
5. Retention of Information.
   To comply with Financial Services Authority and other regulations we will retain personal information for a period to enable us to provide the best service to our current clients and repeat customers. This is kept for whatever period of time the FSA require.

   Should you require access to the information we hold about you, this will be provided within 40 days of request, subject to payment of a £10 charge and proof of identity. You may challenge the data and request we amend or delete anything we hold on you.
   
   
10. Sale or merger of business
    In the event that the business is sold or merged with another business your details may be disclosed to any prospective purchasers their advisors, our advisors and ultimately will be passed on to the owners of the business.
